What is the nexNeuro System?

The nexNeuro system is a multi-sensory relaxation system that combines motion, vibroacoustics, music and video used to induce the “Relaxation Response". NexNeuro offers many different vibroacoustic systems.

What is the purpose of the system?

Our purpose of the nexNeuro System is to bring the benefits of relaxation to those in need. Our systems are designed to give you relief in as little as 20 minutes. Our full body supporting lounges allow anyone to use our lounges. From the healthy to those that who cannot sit or stand, the benefits of relaxation can be achieved. The technologies in our system are designed to induce the  “Relaxation Response”, which is known to decrease muscle tension, lower heart rate and blood pressure, calm the body and deepen your breathing pattern.

What is nexNeuro REST Audio?

At nexNeuro, we have employed an expert in the field of music and sound therapy to create selections that are not only enjoyable, but also effective. The music is tested to ensure the most positive results. Tones, frequencies and binaural beats have been programmed in the music to work specifically with our lounges.

Why are tones and frequencies so important?

The tones and frequencies in the REST Audio music control the vibration and vibration patterns sent to our lounges. You will find that the vibration you're feeling during your session is in “tune” with the music you are listening to. The movement of the vibration felt through your body while listening to music is what makes you “feel” the music.

What are binaural beats?

Binaural beats are phenomena discovered some year’s ago. The brain produces a phenomenon resulting in a perceived sound when two tones at slightly different frequencies are presented separately, one to each of a subject's ears, using stereo headphones. The frequency of the tones must be below about 1,000 to 1,500 hertz for the beating to be heard. The difference between the two frequencies must be small (below about 30 Hz) for the effect to occur; otherwise the two tones will be heard separately and no beat will be perceived.

What is brain entrainment?

Using “Binaural Beat” technology embedded in music it is possible to “teach” the brain to revert to certain brainwave patterns during stress. Repeated use of the music “teaches” the brain the brain pattern embedded in the music. This is called “Brain Entrainment,” a safe and non-invasion way to inducing your brain to brainwave patterns of relaxation, creativity and much more.

Can I use my own music?

Using your own music is always an option, but the expected results of the nexNeuro system cannot be guaranteed.

Sessions

What are sessions?

Sessions are segments of pre-programmed music with embedded “binaural beats” that are composed to obtain certain brainwaves patterns known to encourage a variety of affects. Each nexNeuro session has a different purpose. (Each nexNeuro session is accompanied with optional video on the SL 2.0).

How long is a session?

Typical nexNeuro sessions are about 20 minutes, but times may vary.

Why 20 minute sessions?

For most relaxation sessions, 20 minutes is the optimum amount of time required for an effective relaxation. Although the sessions are programmed for 20 minutes, you may safely repeat sessions if you wish.

Do I need to watch the video with the SMART Lounge?

Although the video is supplied, it is not essential to the effectiveness of the program. Some enjoy the video as another way of distracting the user from their surroundings and find it enhances the session. Others prefer the enjoyment of the music without the video.

Do I need a set a schedule for my sessions?

No, it is entirely up to you. Consistency is the most important part if brain entrainment.

Will additional REST Audio selections be available?

nexNeuro will be adding new selections from time to time. There will a nominal charge for these additional sessions. Be sure and check our online store for new additions.
